Curiosity got me
The charming old inn offers a unique experience with its quaint vibe and historical attributes. It's just a short stroll to delightful coffee shops and restaurants. The welcoming staff, combined with the irresistibly tasty meals at the on-site bistro, truly make it a cozy retreat. Don't miss out on a chat with Charlie, the inn's friendly border collie!

A hidden gem with character
We loved the historical charm of this old inn, and the delightful border collie Charlie made our stay even more special. Enjoyed every meal at the bustling restaurant.
Be prepared for stairs. it's not accessible for those with mobility issues. We faced some confusion on check-in, and the bed could use an upgrade.

The second story covered porch provides a relaxing spot with rockers, perfect for unwinding after a long day. Its prime location allows easy access to local shops and restaurants, making it an excellent base for exploring the area.
The upstairs veranda suffers from unavoidable traffic noise due to its position at a main intersection, which can be a downside for light sleepers. The car park was slick with ice during my stay, making it somewhat treacherous to navigate. Also, breakfast service in the restaurant is limited during weekdays, which was disappointing compared to previous visits.

will certainly stay here again
The place has a cozy standard suite that was super clean and equipped with a private bathroom, air conditioning, and a comfortable sofa. It has nice views from the windows. The staff was welcoming and even offered discounts at their bistro. Loved that they have a friendly dog named Charlie!

The Standard Double Room was cozy and clean. The shower had awesome pressure and plenty of hot water. The beds were comfy too, just the right amount of plush. I liked how it felt quaint and charming, with a nice old-timey vibe. The room was a bit small but totally manageable for a couple getaway. No coffee maker though, that was a bummer!

great stay with a few quirks
The history of the inn complemented modern comforts nicely. The welcoming attitude of the staff added a personalized touch that we appreciated! Dining at the Bistro was a treat, with meals that exceeded our expectations each time. The charming view of the surrounding village made our mornings delightful.
The bathroom was a bit dated compared to the rest of the suite.

I enjoyed a wonderful dinner at the on-site fine dining restaurant, which was the perfect way to experience local flavors while watching the world go by, and the hotel’s central location made it an excellent base for discovering nearby attractions like the Brome County Museum and Tiffany Park, both just a short walk away. The cozy room setup was ideal for my solo journey, allowing me to recharge after a day of exploration.

Location stood out with easy access to the quaint town. The staff, especially housekeeping, made the stay pleasant with their friendliness and assistance. Room was cozy and clean but had some issues with sound from the restaurant below, especially late at night. I enjoyed the outdoor terrace for morning coffee, but noise from passing cars made it less relaxing in the summer. The check-in process felt disorganized. I had challenges with finding my keys upon late arrival, and the front desk staff seemed distant and unengaged. Overall, the atmosphere was charming, but better management of guest services would enhance the experience.

It was just a nice choice for a walk in the evening in Lac-Brome with definitely value for money. The night staff was really helpful when I called about my jacket left behind. Just be prepared for some noise from the street below.
